Woke up this morning
Grey and cold like autumn day
It had been raining
But had ceased at break of dawn
Look deep in drawers
Finding all the clothes I need
Is the summer gone?
I ask myself while reading
Even gloves were needed
As I bicycled to work
But now it’s afternoon
And the sun is back once more
So, hope of summer isn’t gone

Is it very cold in Sweden? I have never been there, nor researched the climate. Some years ago, I moved from a very warm climate to a much colder one. I remember well the feeling of always being cold. It took me a few years to adjust to the change.
Sweden has a very warm climate considering the latitude. But we still have very dark winter, and very long days in summer. Especially in the southern part were I and most fellow Swedes live. The northern part is north of the arctic circle..
