To alter the minds
of the millions believing
that progress is measured
in gold-painted plastics
in botox and spray-tans
in filters to fake
by giving them facts
is daunting, but still
let voices of poets
be heard,
be repeated,
to break up the herds.

So beautiful words.
Nice wordplay, Björn, and yes, the voices of poets need to be heard and repeated ‘to break up the herds’.
Playing with words is fun.
Amen.
Björn, your poem paints a powerful image of challenging the masses with truth in a world of superficiality!

Yes, let the voices of poets be heard to break up the herd…love the wordplay
Very well done, Bjorn. Poets truth is often ignored by many, even those close to us!
Yes, yes, yes, let the poets be heard, let the toxicity and superficiality be unveiled and let us return to true civic engagement and dialogue! We explored very similar themes for this prompt, love your take on it.
AH yes, the magic of poetry, the sheer reality of verse, how it resonates, rests in our deep places ….. fake has no place there. Love your quad.
Bjorn, do you ever feel like poets are the thin line between sanity and complete madness? What we do is more important than ever. I see musicians in there as well as other creative arts. Very good poem in very few words.
great word play great message.
This is very good, Bjorn 💕
Amen! I really wish poets’ voices are heard! May our tribe increase. Love it.
Let the voices of poets be heard. Oh yes indeed. Especially yours, Björn. I really like this.
Great quadrille, Bjorn! Clever title!
