Fusing heart with heart
in harmony
our strings so strange
forms symphonies
of sympathy
and grows by
intertwining mind to mind
in scintillating flames
of adoration,
to forge a common cause
and save
both soil and sea
from mutual ignorance
of artificial
untuned instruments.

Today Lisa hosts dVerse Quadrille, with the word string. You can use it in any form and include it in your poem of exactly 44 words.

I enjoyed your suite for strings, Björn, especially the idea of ‘fusing heart with heart in harmony’. But oh, those ‘artificial untuned instruments’, we can do without them!
Those instruments keep playing… alas
Oh how I love this:
our strings so strange
how else to grok the real of it?
Lovely word play in this call, this protest I utterly agree with, so very much.
Artificial and untuned describe our world pretty well.
a harmonous write Björn

“and save
both soil and sea
from mutual ignorance
of artificial
untuned instruments.”
So much said in so few words., Bravo. 🙂
Mutual ignorance, of artificial untuned instruments, certainly are unfortunately.
Beautifully written Björn
Your word play, which hearkens to the song play is delightful to the senses, Björn.
Great title and indeed “our strings so strange” That artwork goes perfect with your poem. I love the guitars that seem to be taking shape yet, are unstrung. Perhaps, we as a society have broken too many strings that hold us together.
I love the opening
our strings so strange
forms symphonies
of sympathy
❤️
Love the alliteration that flows so smoothly and may “soil and sea
from mutual ignorance
of artificial
untuned instruments” be saved by hearts “fused in harmony”.
Poignant and powerful.
“untuned artificial instruments”
Perfect description of disharmony.
I love the delicate positioning of hearts and strings and earth and sea.
I so love that first line Bjorn
