I dyed the denverhogs in secrecy
in purply braccora of decency
to hide them from the masterclones
larching down on plastered songs
we tied the sewerlog relentlessly
decreasing donors to the regency
protected by brologic lincenses
we swam in kelpy drems of pastry tense
AS pies are fresting in complacency
and sleep in rosemud clovered clemency
still the plastered songs are echoing
as the denverhogs aswirl – boohooing
After reading through the dVerse nonsense poetry I could not help but wanting to make a second with some invented words..

you’ve got to watch those denverhogs 🙂 They can be tricky to deal with. 🙂
Bjorn, That was a fun piece. That drawing is really whimsical. Well done. 🙂 —Susan
Chuckling, thanks for the morning smile..this was fun..
rosemud clovered clemency… love that
Those poor sewerlogs…always being tied. Fun piece!
I love your made up words, they should be real ones – and the poem makes perfect sense to me.
rosemud clovered clemency…..haha…oh i love your invented words…
Wonderful rhythm and flow.
I love the pies fresting in complacency! I am so enjoying all the responses to this prompt – terrific fun!
boo hoo about the tie-dying…it has such a metaphoric meaning for me…cool!
There’s a place called Drem not too far from where I live Bjorn. One of the joys/risks of inventing words is discovering that someone got there before you … smiles
Indeed – as Bryan did with runk
Sewerlog brought a very specific image to my mind too; though I’d not want to tie one.
The phrase pastry tense is very evocative. k.
Lovely inventive rhyming.
