This is such a perfect haiku … and the painting you’ve chosen is fantastic … I’ve never seen the work of this painter but it underlines your poem perfectly.

Ah, tears for the onions that have caught a plight and will not be served for dinner. – I belong to a veggie co-op. Guess those onions anyway will not make me cry.
