there is always another marker…to meet…to find…to mark the time and distance…and places once important…
I originally read “region” as “religion:” kind of interesting little mistake.
As for the poem; most enjoyable. Short and without clutter, letting one ponder and find his or her meaning. This is wonderful to come back to after a bit of a break.

I like the sense of spaciousness in this haiku – it opens out the intensity of modern life and reminds me of the greater journey – the inner one.
