Reminds me of a city I used to live in… on one visit my hubby had to walk down a …district street and even during the day he was proposed to! For several ‘goods’ and ‘services’!
Yes in some cities you feel like prey — but both parties are usually too ashamed… In china I have experienced girls clinging to me.. mostly scary
Hubby, working for a different company – was in China – twice. But mostly in a factory. Tourism was not on the agenda. And he learned that the hot tea brought to the lunch table in the factory was not so much for drinking, but for sanitizing ones chopsticks.
