all breaths become one
the steps flow Cathy
on final pilgremage
a couple hand in hand
eternal spring
before the precipice
together
their spiderwebs obscure
an everlasting sunshine

They look like an Amish couple to me. Once while on a vacation I grabbed the wrong arm… that of an Amish tourist. He became quiet flustered. I look very carefully especially in crowds now for searching for my own love’s arm…. 🙂
Ha, they are actually Mennotnite… but I guess the reaction would be similare

I really like this Bjorn, I have not tried Tan Renga squared yet.
It gives you a possibility to get into progression of a story..
Hi Bjorn, love your recent pieces – especially this one. I do think this form is a great vehicle for both your talents and sensibilities. Sparkly stuff… With Best Wishes Scott
Thank you Scott.. it was a nice way to try to evolve in tan renga style… I will do more like that… each stanza change a viewpoint slightly.
Wow, this is just lovely. I love what you did with my haiku!
You’ve transformed the haiku by Cathy into a wonderful poem Bjorn. This is stunning.
Reblogged this on thesewordsiwrite2012 and commented:
Björn Rudbergs is a writer I follow regularly on WordPress. His haikus and tankas are quite wonderful.
Lovely poem, Bjorn. That does look like an Amish couple.
Definitely … Or Mennonite … So many of these folks here in Peeay. So strange to find them blogged here! 🙂
I think they are Mennonite…
That sounds about right.
A beautiful poem Bjorn — especially the last two lines. Kristjaan is right – stunning!
