come miss and catch the platters
and let the motley honey splatter
let’s splash in jelly, wearing cotton candy
let’s take a trip to paradise
of sugared merchandise
to fill our bellies, ain’t it dandy?
come miss- let’s celebrate
and go where leaves are chocolate
let’s row on lakes of lemonade
and walk the toffee esplanades
but before we haste let’s stock up on paste
to beat the gravity, of painful cavities
I could not make anything else than a little ditty of the words this week.

Playfully written….let’s really limit those sweets… 🙂
Dandy indeed..there’s a great poem called ‘I Wished I’d Looked After my Teeth’ by Pam Ayres.. You may enjoy if it’s on YouTube or haven’t heard it already..her accent is yummy! A cheery write on this Sunday afternoon
What a fun journey!
This is such a fun spill of words. 🙂
Funnier and lighter than many you’ve written, Bjorn. But it’s nice to change once in a while for variety.
Ha. yes.. in a wordle like that it was hard not to go light-hearted.
Fun piece . . . and I have such the sweet tooth.
ah if only we could keep the cavities away….and enjoy…sounds like tales we used to be told as kids of big rock candy mountain…or the candyland game we played…
Dentists are laughing all the way to the bank after my visits to them. It’s an ill wind that blow nobody any good.
haha… what a fun write… you need lots of toothpaste with a life that sweet…. toffee esplanades sound very nice though…smiles
This is whimsical and cute!
ooh…makes me think of the candy bar I had yesterday that made me sick all night.
Bjorn, you won’t believe this, but mine mentioned cavities, too, ha ha! Birthday Bash. Funny. Yours is more adult, and the chocolate leaves? That, indeed, is paradise. All that sugar has signaled it’s time for a break and a bit of ice cream. Loved it. Amy
This is charming. 🙂
