To end an journey means to start a new. From the moment we leave the train, my hand in yours, we feel anticipation on how the train have changed us. The smell of fir trees linger in your hair, and I know that when I wake up at night and in the sound of your breath I know that in your dreams you are back on the train again. We have left the safety of one world and are ready to face adventures in the far east.
Returning to the train in my dreams the pole star lights the railway track.

So gentle and loving then to make it really shine, you used a piece of art from one of my favorite artists, Mucha.
Ah – yes I can see some art noveau in your painting
The two I love the most…Aubrey Beardsley and Mucha 🙂
Bjorn, I enjoyed your trip very much. I thought it a very creative endeavor. Great job. >KB
I have enjoyed it too.. The Carpe Diem prompts have helped a lot.
Wow what a gorgeous concluding haibun and American Sentence Björn… this CD-month is running to an end … and next month we will start our pilgrimage on the Isle of Shikoku.
So beautiful and fragile, yet powerful and alive. From the first word till the very last one…
A beautiful ending to our journey … to end a journey is to start anew. The end is just another new beginning, a new adventure. How beautiful that is when we see it that way.
This is so very beautiful.
Lovely write. Trains do change!
