An inspired haiko from Hando’s haiku
listening with another
to the music of the mountain stream;
there is no other

Brook among the trees by John Henry Twachtman
as mountain stream
play lullabies tonight –
it’s just for us

I enjoyed this. Also, if I have not said it before I always really enjoy when you present the poem of a poet other than yourself and then wtite your own inspiration … always highlighted with artwork.
I think it’s not only a good exercise.. it learns you not only to write poetry, but to read poetry.. which is an art in itself-
Love the spirit put in your own words. Makes me want to hear the music too.
Delightful a gift for us ~ both the photo and the haiku ~ thanks, carol, xxx
Loved the romance in this Haiku …. brilliant 🙂
sounds like a very nice time…falling asleep to a mountain stream
What a playful little piece! 😉
Evanescent Streams
Beautiful and romantic.
Elegant, Bjorn and I’ll echo Liz’s sentiments; having the original and then your interpretation, plus the image, simplicity at it’s finest. I’ll be back!
That is so romantic Bjorn!
lovely romance!
Awesome haiku Bjorn … so in tune with the one given by Hando.
