I know next to nothing about Punjab the musical prompt for today’s Carpe Diem. But after reading in Wikipedia I got fascinated by the Golden Temple of Amritsar. The temple itself looks extremely beautiful and it would certainly be on a list of buildings I would like to see. I was fascinated by some of the symbolism on how it was built, and I tried to reflect that in my brief haiku.

“open to all directions” terrific line!
very cool…def. would go on my list of places to visit as well… love how you capture the openness to all sides as well in your haiku
it is cool the direction given the wind versus it being open to all directions itself…could def be an interesting place to visit….
enjoyed your haiku and also the back and forth verses with HA. 🙂
Very nice and I like the back and forth too
Lovely, Bjorn.
Nicely penned, Björn! And the cascade with HA is as good.
Yes that last line is both literally and literary true 🙂
these comments are almost as good as your initial post –
