I like this very much!
Bjorn, I love the haiku. But also, what is your process for finding the art you pair with your haiku? You come up with such a variety of really good, beautiful, interesting images.
I browse virtual galleries … follow the link in the caption and you find a great site. No secret really. Sometimes I start with the picture but usually the other way around.
A perfect picture to accompany the words. You say so much, with so few words.
Great take on this prompt!! 🙂
How did you come by my picture? It illustrates the need for compassion very well. Thanks,
Bjorn, I found this to be quite fitting for the US this week, as the Trayvon Martin trial ended in acquittal for the racist George Zimmerman. An armed white old man shooting an unarmed black teenager. This is the very opposite of compassion, so I found much in your handful of well-chosen words. Thanks, too, for stopping by my blog. Peace, Amy
Just to set the record straight: George Zimmerman was born on 5 October 1983. He is 29 years old—hardly an “old man.”
Compassion
Should be on billboards and taught in school…everywhere…just as you have written.
the high road to compassion
Cheers!

Simple and straight to the point
Oh, yes, Bjorn, truth! Form well used too.
