dandelions spreading their parachutes. Nice imagery
Thank you 😉 The dandelions have so much vigour
Plants are so tenacious aren’t they! Ambitious little weeds! This is one of your best,Bjorn!
Thank you. 🙂
Great job.. and beautiful imagery.
Thank you 🙂
nice – I like the imagery, although those parachutes always wind up in my yard. Some would say “dandelions with their parachutes, or dandelion with its parachute”.
Thank you 😉 you know where my grammar is weak
no grammar problem here
I think the way you stated it is exactly right, and has meaning at two levels
this is pretty close to classical
Cheers!

I think all of us probably wish that certain plants weren’t so ambitious!
One Ambition
Indeed, but I still admire them a lot.
Fantastic haiku!
Thank you 🙂
I love how you gave dandelions a human attribute! Basho reincarnated?
Wonderful haiku ~ nature’s great example to humans ~ Lovely.
Happy Week to you ~ and thanks for ‘visiting’ ~
Dandelions … seeds spreading through the wind, their parachutes needed to fly.
I love this–they are indeed ambitious and I enjoy them although many don’t.
I’m with Cathy: Dandelions, although unseemly to some, seem perfectly delightful to me!
Ambition
Lovely haiku!
Don’t start the Carpe Diem Dandelion Debate again Bjorn!
Seriously, great work my friend 🙂
Taking A Bow
I love thinking of how sturdy and unrelenting a dandelion can be even when they bend. They hang on, they look pretty.
I loved the flow of this poem.
never ever thought of weeds as ambitious, but now that you’ve presented the facts….well…
