I find a young me found

Baby at play by Thomas Eakins

So sweet. So peaceful. Beautiful.
Thank you 🙂
Very contemplative…soft, most pleasant thoughts. Nice haiku indeed. Maybe an ‘s’ for ‘brings’ in 2nd haiku.
Many thanks 🙂 and corrected.
It’s a charming image I see how inspired you were.
I actually found the image after I wrote the poem
I love your take on the prompt. My brain took it so literally today. Beautiful.
Romantic and sweet. Pure poetry.
a beautiful garden to grow in
the Eakins painting helped to bring out my words today – thanks
Wow, Bjorn. You really hurled me back in time to when my girlfriend and I would go to Griffith Park (in Los Angeles area) and collect tadpoles and care for them, watching them develop into little frogs or toads or whatever they were. I loved this moment of nostalgia.
Lovely memories Bjorn. Thank you 🙂
The second one is simply luscious!
Finding My Young Self
Oh, I love that second one!
how soft footed it re-enters, this nostalgic moments of childhood!!! Lovely capture indeed!! 🙂
((BIG SIGH)) I LOVE this. Also a good picture choice.
Many thanks … 🙂
the last two lines were my favorite, I love how smell brings us back to the romance of our lives. This was beautiful.
Thank you… come and join Carpe Diem… a daily prompt.. could it become better, and next month will be real kigo 🙂
oh I do love Haiku, yes, I’ll try it out (although my talent is very very small compared to yours. )
Ha.. that’s the amazing thing… I have written haiku only a year or so, but daily writing makes a change.
then I shall try and learn. 🙂
Those are two lovely images and gave me a sight of a spring we could well do with in the UK. It’s wet, cold, dark and feels wintry so these haikus were a great reminder of what it should be like.
Here it’s a little rainy but not that cold… about average May I would say.
Both caught me up in their tone.
