Winter kigo on Carpe Diem prompt is hawk (taka). Had no picture of hawks, so I imagine one high up above instead. The picture of the rose hips I took the other day, close to where I live.

Very well composed cascade Bjorn … nice imagery you have painted here with your words.
Thank you 🙂
Lovely cascade! Well expressed circle of life(and death) Photo is wonderful!
Thank you
Excellent trio! Finches, roses and an invisible hawk in winter; ending as it began, the cycle of life wonderfully expressed, a haiku masterpiece indeed.
My favorite line is shadowed rose hips.
Beautiful pic too.
🙂
Thank you. Finding the first image is really a challenge.
Very well done…the circle of life indeed. Thank you 🙂
Thank you
Great cascades Bjorn! Obviously the food chain doesn’t disappoint! Nicely!
Hank
Thank you 🙂
The first haiku is simply masterful – very powerful imagery and meaning. The invisible hawk, yes. Last one has that “flash” haiku moment. The chain of food has tension in 3 lines. Thanks Bjorn, the haiku are real.
Thank you, somehow it lent itself well to do a circle of life approach.
very nice cascade…love it.
Thank you.
i like your set.. and you live in a lovely place I suppose… europe?
I live right outside Stockholm Sweden
And something will prey on the predator…
