Carpe Diem Haiku – Hawk (taka)

Winter kigo on Carpe Diem prompt is hawk (taka). Had no picture of hawks, so I imagine one high up above instead. The picture of the rose hips I took the other day, close to where I live.

  1. Excellent trio! Finches, roses and an invisible hawk in winter; ending as it began, the cycle of life wonderfully expressed, a haiku masterpiece indeed.
My favorite line is shadowed rose hips.
    Beautiful pic too.
    🙂

  2. The first haiku is simply masterful – very powerful imagery and meaning. The invisible hawk, yes. Last one has that “flash” haiku moment. The chain of food has tension in 3 lines. Thanks Bjorn, the haiku are real.
