catching its breath
on the pine tree’s root…
plum blossom


I read Kristjaans nice weblog on this haiku. I see however a hidden love story in this one instead, so let’s go romantic on this one.

pine trees giants in the sky
plum blossom skin

her soft vermillion lips
whispering my name

caress her plum blossom skin
pine trees standing guard

together catching our breat

  2. What a romantic cascading haiku Bjorn. I can imagine this scenery so well, but I have to admit that I hadn’t thought a romantic take on this Special by Issa. You saw the romance in it … awesome!
