Mix and mate

Based on a little tetrameter I wrote earlier today, I expanded to a little happy song, a triolet. It is based on a word of today in artwicule, amalgamate, which among other can mean merge or fuse together.

my friend, let’s mix and mate
in soul and heart, I love you so
we merge, embrace, amalgamate
my friend, let’s mix and mate
and kiss me now we won’t be late
please come today and don’t say no
