The black sack – quartina and a challenge

A little experiment to do my little type of quartina, based on a sestina rotation. I have “invented” my own rotations scheme.

Other rules:
– It should be iambic tetrameter
– Rhyme in pair
So anyone who want a little challenge. Let us see what can be created.
The poem below is more for fun. But I think the effect can be used for some really strong poetry.

November night so wet and black
a maiden innocent and sad
was victim of a rogue so bad
he took her captive in a sack

He brought her home inside the sack
with cruel intentions, he was bad
an outcast with a soul so black
expect this story to be sad

But with a pearly laugh, not sad
our maiden lightened up the black
she took his hand and burned the sack
her captor smiled and was not bad

So end of story is not bad
With joy and force they hit the sack
So none was ever bad or sad
they took the common name of Black

Remember sack, it’s warm and black
And if you ‘re bad, you can’t be sad
