My grandmother died a very old woman when I was just a child, picture must be more than 100 years old. On the photo she is the young woman to the left.

Reminds me of old pictures, I’ve scanned for my parents, they wanted to send to old friend as long as their still alive.
I scanned this and other a few years ago. But they have been sitting around on my computer a long time.
Wasn’t she beautiful?
She never thought so, and nobody said it. She grew up with pretty low self-esteem I think, From the picture I have seen, she was a very nice looking lady I think.
You’ve made me think of my grandmother… thank you.
Love to see your old photo… I would say she is quite beautiful.
Thank you for your comment. I think she is beautiful, but everyone always said her sister was the beautiful one, and I think you can see that reflected in how the picture is taken…
Lovely tribute to your grandmother ~ (A Creative Harbor) ^_^
Thank you, It’s so many years since she passed away, when I looked through old yellow picture I found this one.
Well written cascading haiku Bjorn. I like this picture and that sepia -color is really awesome. Thank you for sharing your lovely memories to your grandmother. And … thank you for your daily participation. It’s always a joy to read your haiku.
Thank you Kristjaan. It was a joy to find the picture and share.
Aaaah, those old pics of our dear relatives…, so moving.
Beautiful pic and very pretty grandma.
Your cascade haiku trio is as lovely as the image.
🙂
Thank you 🙂 I enjoyed doing it
