Sunbeam of hope

20121007-131210.jpg
In cloudy sky I wait for sun to come
The rays of warmth that heat a frozen soul
I’ve been infected and inside I’m numb
But gone is the depression and my ghoul
~~
And faraway a mountain range, I’m whole
In breaking sunshine, path is clear to me
To leave the leaden sky and gain control
Oh, hail the freedom that I now can see
~~
But suddenly the skies are closed again
Melancholy that eats me up once more
I cry and must from happiness abstain
My ghoul inside awake and loudly roar
~~
I formulate advice for all to hear
To grasp a sunbeam that your life endear
~~~
Sonnet written in the hope you will always grasp the sunbeams that takes you to your goal.
  1. Whenever I see sun rays break through thick cloud like this, I can see why the ancients thought their gods were trying to communicate with them! Warms the heart.
