wow! For a beach lover, the poem and photo were fabulous.
This was a very nice, perfect, haiku within which you even got the season. I know we often eschew that rule, but It is nice to do sometimes. I would like to study the Japanese versions and see how they get the seasons in. I believe they may me “express, or implied,” as goes the saying. But it just so happens an engineer friend of mine has been studying Japanese off and on for several decades as a hobby. And by now, is really quite proficient–except in speaking, because he has no one to practice with; however he has become very good with reading and writing.
