In silence our friendship grow
We say so much without a word
A play of beauty
A song for us
The sun and sea it teaches us
In this friendship let us grow
A play of beauty
A song for us
We will be friends forever now
Bonds are sealed by sun and sea
A play of beauty
A song for us
Claws of winter, depressing fall
We hold hands and just recall
A play of beauty
A song for us

This so reminds me of one of a very few best friends. So different are we–very unlikely friends. I wrote about her here http://davidemeron.com/tag/d83u4877weu/
I very much like the repeated figure in this one. In my youth I wrote quite a number like it, in that way, at least. Since my page is all about sonnets, however I’ve never posted one of those–or have I?
I usually take old works and make them into sonnets to post on wordpress, however sometimes I use the originals as the introductions.
In any case, I like the feel of this one very much. The beach, the sun, the wind, the cold. I find can feel it all!
